REFUND POLICY
Last updated October 26, 2026
This Refund Policy for Hwavoice STT ("we," "us," or "our"), the online speech-to-text and subtitle service operated at https://stt.hwavoice.com (the "Site"), explains the conditions under which you may request a refund for a paid membership plan purchased on the Site, and the process for doing so.
By purchasing a paid plan on Hwavoice STT, you agree to this Refund Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not make a purchase.
1. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Unused plans
- If you have not used any of your transcription, translation, or correction quota since being charged, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the payment date.
- If you have used less than 60 minutes of transcription time and fewer than 20,000 characters of translation/correction in total since being charged, you may request a refund within 7 days of the payment date.
1.2 Billing errors, fraud, and technical issues
You may request a refund for a purchase made within the last 30 days if:
- Your account was compromised and used fraudulently;
- You were charged in error by Hwavoice STT (for example, duplicate charges for the same plan);
- A technical issue attributable to Hwavoice STT prevents you from using the service at all.
For these cases, you must contact us within 30 days of the disputed charge to be eligible for a refund.
2. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS
- We do not offer partial refunds. If you cancel a plan after using 60 minutes or more of transcription time, or 20,000 or more translation/correction characters within a single billing cycle, you are not eligible for a refund.
- Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after the purchase date (including any trial period) will not be accepted.
- Refunds are not available for issues caused by your own network environment, device, or third-party software, or for dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described and available before purchase.
3. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with your account information (registered email or user ID), the order number, and a brief description of the reason for the request.
We review and process refund requests within 7 business days of receipt. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account depends on your payment provider (for example, Alipay, WeChat Pay, or your card-issuing bank for international card payments).
4. REFUND LIMITS
Each account is limited to one refund. If an account has received two refunds, we reserve the right to restrict that account from purchasing any subsequent plans.
